YES, you will be eligible to apply under CEC post graduation stream:

Post-Graduation Stream
Under this stream the applicant must have:
 completed a required program of study in Canada and obtained a Canadian
educational credential (e.g., degree, diploma, or certificate);
 been enrolled full-time in this program of study or training for two years
 acquired, in Canada, at least 12 months of full-time work experience, or the
equivalent in part-time work experience in a NOC type 0, or level A or B occupation,
within the 24 months before the date the application is made.

Does accounting studies also fall into this category? I mean someone who may have done CGA (canadian general accounting) & have worked 1 yr after completing education, will he get the chance to apply for PR?

Were you enrolled in a college/university full-time, and did you earn a degree/diploma?

Hi, I was wondering, if anyone can please guide me:
Completed 2 years full time diploma from recognized college in ontario in Dec 2011
Currently on Post grad work permit.
Working full time since January 2012 - till today .

Will there be any issue if i change jobs and gain 1 year work expereince and then apply under CEC for PR.

or

Should i continue doing the job which i am doing right now and complete one year there and then apply under CEC for PR.

Please suggest and guide.

thanks
Abhi

Its a professional designation like for lawyers its LLB etc. For this designation (CGA) you can study online or off-line full-time. Honours can also be taken while completing it but will it be necessary to do honours with CGA or only CGA (canadian General accountant) certification is enough?

No, it will not count as "education."
