From this announcement: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/news/2023/06/canadas-tech-talent-strategy.html

Has someone met these conditions?
  • We will prioritize applications to ensure those supported by committed capital or endorsed by a business incubator that is also a member of Canada’s Tech Network will move to the front of the line for processing.

I just want to know if I have to submit something more to let IRCC know that my application is supported by this type of business incubator.
I submitted my application before this announcement.

I'd like to ask. How do you even start? I have a business in Nigeria and I'd like to move it to Canada if possible.

Also, I'd like to really know more about this as I'm a newbie. Kindly guide

I was in a similar boat—applied just before that announcement dropped. My startup was backed by a Canada Tech Network incubator, but I had to follow up with IRCC directly and send a letter from the incubator confirming their support. That sped things up. Found a helpful breakdown on https://happyniftylife.com/ while I was figuring it out. It didn’t mention specifics for older applications, but a little nudge to IRCC definitely helped in my case.

Could you please share the steps and required supporting documents?
Also, how is the result confirmed?

I tried to send a webform to IRCC following this path:
Ask about or update your application -> Other

But the response I received was just an automated reply saying that they are reviewing the application. It doesn’t explain how to request priority processing or why my application doesn’t meet the criteria.
