For sure I have....And this is the reason behind my confusion. Please read and understand my question properly and then reply so that I could come out of it. In simple words, I want to know that will this Generic Application Form will work the same for my spouse and dependants accompanying me to Canada as the old individual forms for spouse and accompanying dependants were made to do???

Secondly I think this forum is made in order to help each other by sharing knowledge and experience of the topic so you are requested to please use words or gesture which doesn't cause anyone annoying or hurting.

Have you even bothered to look at the application package and read the guide? It very clearly explains who is required to fill out each form.

For example, it states:

Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008)

Who must fill out this application form?

This form must be completed by:

You, the principal applicant.

I want to apply for fsw 2014 along with my spouse and children . I have gone through the instructions guide available on the website and apparently know what forms are needed for the same. I also understand my spouse also have to fill additional family form and background declaration form. I am confused about generic application form which takes my information as the principal applicant and I know it accommodates me as the applicant. Though it also takes details about my family members whether they will accompany me to Canada or not. My question is that will this form represent my family (I want to have accompanied with me) as applicants or not and do they have to fill another form to show them applicants of the application?
