HELLO friends...the last time i logged into canadavisa forum was the day i got my visa..its been two months ...Thought i shud share my experiences with you..
here we get almost anything we get in india..so dont care much about shopping.winter gears are best puchased here.the rates are almost same.dress are also very cheap...especially we get real steal offers from big brands like puma,reebok,aeropostale etc.
another thing i wanted to tell you is PLEASE BE CAREFUL WITH YOUR COURSE selection..you simply cant change your course after coming here...some may tell its easy( consultants), but my experience is that it just dont happen...my friend lost all his money and is now clueless as he believed everythong his consultant told him.


select a asuitable course and a place where cost of living is less..bring money for your entire course from india for living.NEVER expect to fill your fees by doing part time.YOU HAVE NO CLUE about the hardships here.

That was quite helpful. I am planning to take MEng course from Dalhousie. I have heard that living expenses are quite much in Hlaifax, NS, true?. Plus is it afforable to keep a car for city to city destinations?

have u paid ur fees already? 2000 will be enough for living expenses 2-4 months depending on how u spend. please ask specific question like is 2000 cad sufficient as fees /living expenses etc. It is very difficult to answer open ended questions ..its like asking is 10000 rupees enough when visiting india ...

IF YOU ARE coming to toronto the rent for shared room is 450 dollars average if not more. plus 110 approx for bus card per month ...plus food ...so be planned
but in small and quiet towns like sarnia we can wrap up all the expenses to 260 dollars or less

wanted to know what all things to take care when applying under General...please advice

i have got LOA from SELKIRK college BC canada....jan2014 intake....PG in business and tourism management

BBA in hotel and tourism management 68% plus three of experience in the smae field
IELTS 7.0(not less than 6.5)

very well said but problem is people choose to ignore warnings.......the only thing they r focusing on is visa ..they think once the visa is done they r set but reality is very different.....lot of people have posted warnings on this forum still people fall for agents....like they say a sucker is born every min

again the same thing open ended question ......all i can say is follow the check list and please ask specific question and not "please help what all things to be taken care of" ..very difficult to answer all the things to take care off.

Soory...my concern was how to convince the VO that i will not stay back in canada...can you help me on this...what all things i can mention in SOP so that i do not miss on my visa

u need strong home ties ..property , good employment prospects after completion of ur course, a job offer in ur home country etc. this is all to convince VO that u will return to ur home country.So basically u need a strong commitment in ur home country which will force u to come back.

I cannot tell u how to do things u will have to figure out which documents to add and where to acquire them . Like i said u need a strong commitment that will make u come back to home country. depending on ur personal details u should make ur case . if u have property doc thats good , if u have employment letter again better.

it is better to add a letter from a credible employer shouldnt look like a fake....
