I am looking to apply visitor visa to Canada and would like to know which process is better/quicker.

What are the current processing times for online vs Postage?

When applying online, The application asks to upload travel Itenary but how can we plan our travel without Visa being issued? Thoughts?

Sorry chennadi for my entry into your post, but I have a similar question in regards to processing times. I applied online for a TRV (Tourist) back in 14/10/2013 and I live outside Canada. To be more specific, I am from Saudi Arabia and I live in Australia.
My question is that how can I know the processing time/place for my ONLINE application?
Is it considered INSIDE canada? Or are they processing my application in Australia? Or in Saudi Arabia? I'm a bit confused here and I cannot tell from this link: [Not allowed to post links but I mean the link PPM posted] where my application is being processed!! I would appreciate it if some one could give me a hint here.

I am living in Canada and applied for spouse open work permit on online on October 18, 2013. my wife is still in India. so most probably ur file will transfer to ur home country.

The process times is around 3-4 months. lets hope we will get visa approval soon.
