This is normal. It means some internal processes have taken place on your TRV app. This may happen a couple of times more before you get a decision

You have a pretty good case.... if you've explained about your employment situation + submitted evidence/explanation of your ties to Pakistan (apart from those to the UK) then you're sorted

I've got my fingers crossed for you

Hi Bryanna,

I think the document I submitted online after my application submission travel insurance and car finance document they accepted it I got reply from IRC as given below:

Thank you for contacting Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

We have verified the information you provided and can confirm that your application is in process.

If further information is needed, the responsible office will contact you.

What do you say about it and I submitted my application online on 1 Nov and gave biometric on 4 Nov what you think how long they are going to take.

Thanks

Hi Bryanna

1) I checked the visa processing time for the London office and it's changed from 13 days to 12 days but it's been 15 days I applied but no status change or passport request yet, any idea?

2)Is long processing time means more chances to get the refusal ???

3)last, will the status for the final decision change from Not started to Approved or they will ask for passport first and then will change the status ?

now being worried about decision as normal processing time passed.

Answers will be helpful

Thank you

Hi,

1. Processing times posted on the IRCC website are only estimates. Actual individual processing time will vary.

2. No. People have been refused even after months of processing.

3. If processing is positive (and an approval is on the way) then you will get a passport request. Final decision will be made only after the passport is submitted.... then the status will change to "Approved and closed".

Try not to worry or think too much :)

LOL I am trying :)

and mean they will only ask for the passport if they are thinking to approve the TRV, In other case they will not ask for passport ?

2. No. People have been refused even after months of processing.

So it's mean if they are taking more time there are more chances of refusal ???

Thanks

I had meant to type.... People have been refused even in a few days.... refusals do not necessarily take longer.

and mean they will only ask for the passport if they are thinking to approve the TRV,
That's right. But even after passport requests, there have been some one-off cases where people were refused. So it's a guessing game right to the end

Hi

I checked my TRV application status on VFS site and it is showing the message given below:

Visa application, tracking ID No.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx – Passport has been collected from the Canada Visa Office, {London}, or the decision has been sent by email/courier, on 07/11/2016

But I did not submit any passport yet as I did not get the passport request. Can you please tell me what does it mean ???

Thank you

When did you submit the travel insurance and car finance documents: Online date? Copies submitted to VFS date?
I submitted docs online using CES on 2/11 and got their confirmation email on 9/11 and gave biometric and copies of documents at vfs on 4/11

A final decision update would be "Approved and closed" (passport submission).... or "Refused" (before/after passport submission). You'll have to wait until you get one of these messages

What is the last update in your MyCIC account?

In MyCic Account the last update was that they have received my biometrics as previously it was biometrics required then it changed to Biometric review not needed this time. this was the last update.

Thank you

Hi all

I have contacted the Canada High Commision London regarding my application process as I applied on 1 Nov and did not heard any thing yet I got the reply given below :

""As indicated on our website, the processing times provided are based on how long it took to process 80% of all applications during that time period and are subject to change. As these processing times refer to 80% of applications, some applications will fall outside of these timeframes. In addition, as they are an average, there will be some fluctuations in processing times at peak periods during the course of the year.

That being said, please be assured that your application has been received and is currently in active process and we are making every effort to complete processing as expeditiously as possible. As soon as processing is completed we will contact you.

If you are no longer interested in visiting Canada, please inform our office in writing that you wish to withdraw your application. As processing of your application has already commenced, a processing fee refund would not be applicable.

so is it positive sign or negative?

Thanks
