- GCkey account - that’s the most reliable and convenient way to applyHello,
did you apply through the GCkey account or through the online portal?
I am also applying for my parents visa. How much funds did you mention?
Thanks in advance.
i think its better to withdraw this application and submit a new one with updated Purpose of visit. Goodluck!Hello everyone!
Not sure if this is the right thread to post this-
I have applied for my parents in August 2022 for my graduation but didn't receive any updates yet.
My parents situation is kinda twisted- my parents are Pakistani but they live in Africa(Mozambique). So they applied in 2016 and my dad got a refusal and my mom conditional approval (single entry only). Now they applied again in 2022 on the bases of my graduation, but guess what, my grad happened in October and they have still not responded yet.
Now I have been approved for my PR(shukar) and I was thinking if that could help a little to speed up my parents visitor visa? Or should I update IRCC that the intention has now been changed as I want them to visit me as its been a while.
Any suggestions or help is really appreciated! Thank you~
Hey! Thank you- but then will it start the whole new processing time period again!i think its better to withdraw this application and submit a new one with updated Purpose of visit. Goodluck!
I don't think your new PR status would make any difference in expediting current application's outcome. Since your grad ceremony already passed - which was the main reason for the visit. So its likely they may reject the application. Otherwise you can keep faith and wait for the decisionHey! Thank you- but then will it start the whole new processing time period again!
I will try to get the estimated time and notes from them and may withdraw their applicationI don't think your new PR status would make any difference in expediting current application's outcome.
