Canada visa off New Delhi precessing

Applied at VFS New Delhi on July 10th. Passport back in hand with visa on it on July 21

We still have not heard... It's been more than 8 weeks now, and when someone inquired about his application, they said there were about 50-60 applications along with his backlogged. This is at Delhi... so I don't understand how someone could apply in July and receive their visa, while my fiance applied in end of May and still has not heard anything at all. It doesn't make sense to me!

Processing time varies from case to case.... and it also depends on the quality of the documentation/evidence submitted as well as the applicant's situation/purpose of visit.
It is possible for someone's TRV application to be processed in even a couple of days/a week.... like it has happened in the case of IndoCanadian2015.
A delay may be possible if additional checks/additional information is sought by the visa office from other sources.
