Canada& US visit

Hi friends !!
Recd canada Trv in may 2018 ;need help in planning my trip to US & Canada; toronto, niagara falls in canada ;NY , Boston & Detroit in US.Have valid US visa & have visited US West coast ( entry stamp houston airport ; No exit stamp)
How to plan my itinerary; so that i get ENTRY stamps on my passport for both countries ??
Do they stamp passports at road borders or Only at airports ???
should I fly to US first ; Road enty to canada & Fly back from toronto OR viceversa
OR
Buy return ticket to 1 country & cover the other country by Road to & fro ???
which Travel plan will get Entry Stamp for Both countries

Not sure why you are keen on getting travel stamps, but the US stamps at airports and land borders, and Canada doesn't provide stamps at some airports...but they will at land borders.

Anyway, hard for anyone here to tell you an itinerary since you will have preferences for time, budget, etc.
