I got email today and refused because of family tie in Canada.
My sister is living in Canada even last time they rejected me for same reason.

I'm sorry to hear that msh_ca. It is rubbish of them to have sent a reject after two months of wait though!! Please apply through VFS the next time. I guess you would need a strong letter of explanation defending yourself of returning back to your home country. Wish you all the best!

I think contact VFS and ask them the advice how to write letter of explanation in a convincing way to visa officer regarding your ties in India. They might help you better out of their experience. All the best...

Yep I did, as why this time it was not any other reason except my sister residency in Canada. which I cant do anything for that.

Bad luck buddy.... My brother is a Canadian citizen and I wont my visa with out any trouble.. just a long 9 weeks wait and I have just landed in canada Yesterday....

My classes begin in September so I have plenty of time to relax....


Try to make a strong case... if refused because of that is becasue they think you dont have strong home ties.... so work on that if you are willing to apply again...

I am currently in New Brunswick... will be tarvelling to Calgary, Alberta next week... and after a month or less will move to Saskatoon in Saskatchewan where University of Saskatchewan is.... what about you??

HI guys,

I have applied for Visa on 12th April, got a reply to upload degree on May 18th. Since then there is no update or request for passport

I am worried, as people are getting it under 15 days now by applying online.
What should I do? Mail/Fax/Form doesnt work nor do they reply.

really smooth process... Really nothing to worry about bro...

It took me about 3 minutes there.... The guy just asked me if I had all the documents and I said yes.. And he told me no need to show them to me ... after that he printed my study permit and I was ready to go...

That was it.... really no need to worry
