Proof of financial can be a bank statement showing enough fund. You don't need to order another GIC since you have been to Canada. But, you can order GIC if you want to be on the safe side.

I believe you should be exempt from IELTS since you have taken classes in Canada and you have been to Canada from more than a year. So, you already have sufficient English proficiency.

I have applied for my study permit extension on 23rd september. I havent heard anything from them. Does anyone know which date application is getting approved?

I applied on Sept 25 and I haven’t heard anything from them so far!

Add 100 days to your application date.

You should hear from them around Jan 3rd 2020 or earlier or even later.
Have patience.
 
Hi, I applied for SP extension On Oct 22 but still no luck. Any one got approval who applied after 22nd Oct.
