Canada Study permit visa application deadline for jan 2017 intake?

Hi,

I got admission letter from a Lambton college for Jan 2017 intake. As the loan process got delayed way too much I haven't applied for visa yet. It would take 1 more week for the loan amount to be disbursed.

Can I apply for study permit mid December?

I don't think so last date is 1st December for jan intake.

on my opinion for SPP 30 nov is last date and u can apply till mid dec for genral application or non spp but make sure with consultancy

application received after 1 dec most likely to refuse as mentioned in checklist.
so dont take risk , better go for may intake

Hi Dear,

It is not recommended to apply now. Read below it is from CIC document checklist

We strongly recommend that you submit your application at least three months
ahead of your proposed date of travel. Applications that are received after 01 April
for May entry, after 01 August for September entry and after 01 December for
January entry will not normally be processed in time for the start of classes and
may be refused.

1. Online Filing - Till 10th Dec
2. Offline Filing - 1st Dec

Is it true?.. Please reply this.

There is NO concept of online/offline filing having different deadlines

Even i had received for Jan 2017 Intake from Lambton College. My visa refused, applied on Nov6th. Suggest you to go for next intake, as its already late. Once you apply under SPP and If visa is refused you should apply under General. You get only one attempt to apply under SPP

Why do want to take chance at last moment, just a suggestion its upto you !!

Which VISA office are you going to select and processing also depends on VISA office?

Which course you had applied in Lambton college

But, in this PDF ,there is nothing mentioned regarding visa filing under SPP category. Its the general checklist and its not mandatory for SPP only. Thats my only point.

I applied Canada Study Visa (SPP) on Nov 6th 2016 and got refusal on Nov 26th 2016.
Work Exp: 2 Years
Bachelors from India:Bcom=62.5%
12th=53.30%
10th=79.68%
IELTS:6
GIC: Paid + 1st Semester Fees: Paid + Education Loan Sanction Letter ($22000)+ Deposit in Account=$6000

YOU CAN STILL APPLY. THE DEADLINE IN THE WEBSITE IS NOVEMBER 30 EVEN THOUGH THEY WILL ACCEPT THE APPLICATION.A FRIEND OF MINE APPLIED FOR MAY INTAKE ON 14TH APRIL 2016 AND VISA GOT GRANTED ON 27TH OF APRIL. THE DEADLINE WAS APRIL.

I HAVE SUBMITTED MY APPLICATION ON 2 DECEMBER.
