XII 56.15 (1 year gap)
DIPLOMA in civil engineering (80%, 2 year course, 3 backlogs)
B.E 7.66 cgpa (8 backlogs)
is there any chance for me to get a student visa
It Depends on University like some universities in Canada accept maximum 5 backlogs, with a minimum 70 per cent in bachelors whereas some universities accept applications from students who have maximum 7 or 8 backlogs, but only for Post Graduate Degree programmes, provided they have minimum 65 % and above in bachelors.
Students who have more than 10 or 12 backlogs are eligible to apply for PG diplomas in Canada. And students with higher number of backlogs are granted admissions on case-to-case basis. With such a large number of backlogs it is almost not possible to get admission in any of the programmes as well as student visa . Due to easy PR policy, there is many fold increase in number of applications which is making admission very tough. I suggest you to contact with university admissions officer.
