Hey All,

I have a very difficult situation here. I entered the U.S legally (10 years old) my father left me with my uncle and aunt and I am back to my country now, I left the states when I was 18 years old. I have asked the U.S immigration lawyer about my overstaying they said I won't face any ban from the states because I left within 180 of turning 18. I have successfully completed my elementary and high school but I am facing problems entering as a undergrad student in my country.

Now my questions are:
Does Canadian schools offer Undergrad visas?
Will my overstaying in the U.S make me a poor candidate?
Am I eligible for a Canada Undergrad Student Visa? If Yes, will I have to face an interview?
Will I have to write a TOEFL or IELTS?
If I have to face the interview will the Visa officers ask my questions about my overstay?
Is my Visa impossible?

NOTE: I cannot live in my country because I have spent most of my child hood in the U.S every other country feels like a foreign country to me. Except Canada and U.S

Of course, Canada offers undergraduate studies and u will get yr student visa if u r offered a place in the Uni and apply the student visa from the respective offices in charge of issuing yr student visa.

canadian visa office will not bother with yr overstay in the US, as long as u are not a criminal or committed criminal offences in any country, u are eligible for student visa.

U will be eligible for student visa as long as u are offered a place in the unis that u have applied, interviews are at the discretion of the issuing office.

If u will be asked if there is an interview, then its up to the officer to ask u questions, if asked then u need to tell the truth.

Whether the visa is possible is dependent on the various factors such as admission letters from the unis and also yr financial status when applying for visa.

Go do some research and homework yourself by googling the web.

There will be universities that list their cost and the ways to apply for those unis that u are interested in.

Will I have any problems getting a Canadian Student Visa? Do you think the Officer might think that my overstaying in the U.S will cause overstaying in Canada? But I Came back on in 180 days of turning 18 so I am a Unlawful Presence. ?
