I'm not sure how you used the email id. I tried using it as pm@pm.gc.ca and it did not bounce.

.
There is nothing to worry as it's just our opinion about being discriminated for no fault.

If you really think that is true I think you need to read this story, here's the link: http://www.cbc.ca/news/politics/canadavotes2011/story/2011/04/05/cv-election-harper-ignatieff-rally-923.html

Also, I know at least 2 people from the local VO here who apparently had their applications delayed after they asked their political representatives to intervene on their behalf on a number of occasions at the local VO.Its been over 2 years since one of these people submitted documents to the VO in August 2009, yet they are yet to receive their visa despite being in Canada on work permit since 2008.EVERYONE else who applied at the same time received their visas long ago.

Well, What can I say. Trying to influence through political connections at the local VO is different from requesting the PM of Canada to have consideration for the backloggers.
We are directly informing the PM of our concerns that there is undue delay in progressing as compared to what was mentioned in the acknowledge when we had filed. This is unfair under judicial system and that
Canada needs to re-think their strategy.

They weren't trying to use political interference at all; they merely asked their MP to enquire about the delay in the processing of their file when their own efforts in that regard failed to elicit a response from the local VO, as usual. And they were well within their rights in doing so. Canada does really have to rethink it's strategy....
