Canada PR

Hi All,

I want to apply for Canada PR, below are the details:

Age- 37
Qualification- Graduate(Arts)
Experience- 5years in IT service desk
Maritial status- Yes
Childern- 1

I should apply in Express Entry, But my total number is 390 which is not sufficient for Express Entry or i should apply in FSW program only, which needs 67 points and apart from this my wife's brother is living in Canada from last 1 year. He has a Canada PR and can my Brother in law can sponser her sister for Canada PR. Can anyone please provide me right information for this so that we can take a right step towards it

I believe FSW (Federal Skilled Worker) is one way of applying for Express Entry. That means you cannot apply directly under FSW without getting Invitation to Apply (ITA) under Express Entry. Therefore, I would suggest you work on increasing your score for e.g. retaking IELTS, studying French, doing Master. If you can get at least 400, you can apply for Ontario Provincial nomination that can boost your score by another 600 points making you eligible for ITA. The other option could be to look for other states nomination where 400 is not required.

I am not aware of other PR scheme such as family connection etc. Other members can throw some light.

Your brother in law might be useful only if you intend to apply for that particular province where your brother in law is residing. If you can tell his province, people would be in better position to answer your query.
