i am planning to apply for canadian
immigration...Before i go ahead i wanted to tell u
about me so that u can guess the chances of getting the PR....
1.I have a computer science engineering degree from India and later
went to USA on F1 visa...I finished all the course work and everything
and was about to submit my project work...Meanwhile got an opportunity
from a company and joined the company and was working under curriculum
practical training....
2.Meanwhile the company sponsored me for an H1B papers. So meanwhile my
mother who is in india was
not well.So since i didnt have a multiple entry i went to Mexico for a
change of status....
3.So the officer said he never heard of my company and said he needs
more documents and asked me to come back and gave a document saying
that they are unable to issue me a visa because of insufficient
documentation.....Section 221(g)
4.So my visa was rejected and came back to India. So after few months i
attended a consulate in india...
So to my surprise they say tha there database shows that i am
permanantly ineligible for H1 B visa i.e section 212...
THEY MIGHT HAVE ENTERED THE DATABASE WRONGLY...
So after explaining it in detail the visa officer asked me to send all
the documents.....So they say they need more time to look into all my
documents...
meanwhile i got married and my husband has a canada PR but he stays in USA.
SO MY QUESTION IS AM I ELIGIBLE FOR CANADA PR....WILL THIS USA THING
EFFECT MY CANADA PR....
its already been 9 months i am waiting for reply to hear from the US
consulate. But they r really taking time.
So since 9 months me and my husband are away and my husband is really
afraid if this US thing will effect my canada PR....
So before i go ahead in applying could u please let me know if i can
apply now or not......
