Applied PR for me(Primary Applicant) and my Spouse(Dependent) received AOR, completed Medicals and waiting for Passport Request.

My dependent is not interested to come to Canada and settle, but I am interested to become a PR. I have below queries and expecting suggestions and guidance.

1) Both Primary and dependent should complete the landing formality's at the same time.

2) As primary applicant if I land first and later my dependent can complete landing formality's.

3) As primary applicant if i complete landing formality's and my dependent does not complete landing before expiration date. Does primary applicant and dependent both PR will be cancelled.

4) If I have landed and received my PR and in future if my wife changes her mind and wants to come to Canada, Can I Sponsor her again or I need to apply VISA.

Requesting a detailed information / guidance for my above queries.

Thanks in advance.

Primary Applicant has to land first. Dependant can land later. Your PR status won,t change if your dependant don,t land in the future. Yes you can sponsor your wife later, if you keep your PR status in Canada. You need to stay 2 out of 5 years in Canada to retain your PR status.

We (me and my wife) had applied for PR through the FSW program. I was the primary and applicant. We now have given our passports to stamp the PR visa. I would like to know if I can land in Canada first and my wife on a later date but prior to the expiry of the PR visa stamped on passport. I did see few comments on other forum saying that is possible. Please confirm and also it will be great if you can give us a link from CIC official webpage confirming this.

Appreciate your help and thanks in advance.
