Hello All,

When i check my eligibility through tool, it says I am eligible and once I have created profile it says you are not eligible.

I have :
1. IELTS (given Jan 23rd 2016): listening - 7.5
Reading - 6.5
Writing - 6.0
Speaking - 7.0
Overall - 7.0
CEFR level - C1

2. Valid WES evaluation of my degree which says Bachelor degree 4 years.
3. Have valid 5+ years of experience in Microsoft BI (Business Intelligence) database side.
4. Have profile on canada job portal.
5. FBI and India PCC done.

I don't understand what is wrong with my profile application. I get below message :

To qualify for Express Entry, you must meet the minimum eligibility criteria for the Federal Skilled Worker Program, and/or the Federal Skilled Trades Program and/or the Canadian Experience Class. Based on your profile, you do not meet the minimum eligibility criteria for any of these programs.
Reasons you would not be eligible for Express Entry include:
• not having a valid language test
• language test results that are more than two years old
• a language test score that is too low
• not having enough relevant work experience
• not having the required education level
• not having enough funds If you still want to come to Canada as a skilled immigrant, you can take steps to improve your qualifications and register for Express Entry at a later date. For example, you may try to improve your language score or gain a higher level of education.

Can anyone suggest me what needs to be done. It would be great help to me.

Thanks
Ankur

What did you enter for the amount of funds you are planning to bring to Canada?

Okay. Make sure this is sufficient for the size of your family:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

Assuming you are applying under FSW, you must also have 67 points or more under the FSW selection factors:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

Do you?

Final thing to check is that you have at least 12 months of continuous work experience in the NOC which you nominate as your primary occupation.

List all your jobs, duration in weeks and NOC code.

Also, explain what you chose as the primary NOC.

Also also, what do you mean you specified $18-22k? When you create your profile, you must enter a specific number into the text field, not a range. What did you exactly enter?

88 points on FSW? Can you give a breakup? Your IELTS seems too low to get you to 88.

I dont have access to that now. I checked in some tool before starting the application. If you have link I can do breakup in FSW again.

Also for skilled worker one should have 6 point in each category at least, which I have.

It looks like my FSW points are low. I calculated again. and it is coming 61 if I choose moderate proficiency.
Otherwise its coming 69. I think this could be the cause.

What should I do now. Can anyone help me on this.

Try to score at least 8 in L and 7 in R/W/S on IELTS (corresponds to CLB 9). Check if those scores help you get to 67 or higher. It will also help you maximize your CRS score.

I wouldn't trust some random FSW calculator, especially if it doesn't allow you to enter exact language test results.

Do a manual calculation based on the information provided here:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-factors.asp

Verify that you indeed do not have 67 points or more before you start taking the IELTS again.

I have scored in IELTS (given Jan 23rd 2016): listening - 7.5
Reading - 6.5
Writing - 6.0
Speaking - 7.0
Only because of writing (6.0) I fall into CLB 7 category and total score is 16(each give 4 points). Or may be I am calculating wrongly.

If someone can help me to calculate the FSW score it would be great. I can give all details:

1. IELTS score above
2. 6 years of experience (with breaks). Current job is continuous from Jan 2015.
3. Education : 4 years Bachelor degree (WES approved)
4. Age 33.
5. Arranged employment in Canada - N/A
6. Adaptability - N/A

Thanks
