I applied Canada PR under FSW on March 12, 2010. I had included myself, my spouse and my two kids in the application BUT I sent only my fee with the application. I got postal mail from CIS Sydney with all my papers back and stating (in a separate letter) that as my spouse and two kids will also be accompanying with me so I need to send their fees as well. The letter also stated that my case has not been processed and no record has been saved by CIO. There were many markings (TICK MARKS, OK etc) on various papers of my application.
I re-sent it, mentioning that only I will be coming to Canada in case I get PR and my spouse and kids will not accopmany me at this time.I also attached the letter which CIO sent me, asking about fee payment.
My file sent again was received by CIO on April 28, 2010 and I have still heard any thing from them.
My name before marriage was entirly different from what I have now. It changed from Rita Verma to Satnam Kaur. I have attached photocopies of both my passports as well.
Can anybody tell me if my case is OK, I mean "diferent names" and "spouse & kids accopanying/not accopanying" thing wil affect my application approval. Also as Category 4131 is not in C29 now, so how would it affect approvals of such cases.
I have checked with my bank and the BANK DRAFT has still not been cashed.
