Job Offer........
Pre-Assessed..
People expecting mail from CIC should expect some delays. I would avoid using Canada Post to send citizenship applications until this get sorted out.

How about using other courier? ups or fedex or etc?
is that works?
my pr is expiring Aug and I have to apply soon.
any suggestion?

I sent 2 applications yesterday by Registered Mail through Canada Post and was informed it will arrive on July 11th. I made sure to ask the postman with the delivery, he informed me that he wouldn't accept taking the packages from me if he wasn't sure the packages will reach destination on Monday, July 11.

IRCC posted guidelines regarding the Canada Post Strike:

Canada Post services may be interrupted
Effective July 5, 2016, Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has put special measures in place to minimize the impact on application processing in case Canada Post Corporation mail services are interrupted. Read the notice to find out more.

It seems they had reached a truce for 30 days and in the worst case, lockout/ strike will start only in August 2016
