After 3 weeks of painstaking effort to collect supporting documents, I completed the application form and submitted my OINP application via XpressPost and with signature option. I sent the package on Wednesday 10 Feb and since Friday Feb 12 the tracking has been showing that it is "Out for Delivery". I called up OINP today and they said that they haven't received the package yet (could be that they didn't register me yet). So I'm assuming Canada Post misplaced or lost my package. I have already opened up an investigation with Canada Post.

Have any of you had any issues with submitting your OINP application by XpressPost? Were you able to get signature on delivery through Canada Post because I know for some government offices sometimes they don't sign the packages as they are "Large Volume Receivers".
 
I hope you photocopied the entire package you had sent so you had copies and I really hope that they did not actually misplace it.
 
sorry I meant to say "Wednesday Feb 10 and since Friday Feb 12". Minds not working correctly right now.

And yes I did photocopy the entire package. Fingers crossed and lets see how the investigation turns out.

Yikes. Well I just hope it works out. A 3 day gap is cause for some worry. I hope it's just in the mail guy's truck. Good luck.

The bank draft is refundable. Hope you can explain your situation to OINP if yoi need more time.
 
My says out for delivery since Feb 15th.

Called Canada post, they said it's large volume receiver too.
 
Call Canadapost for the status of your package...!!
