Canada Post Item out for delivery for 2 days

Hi,

I am submitting my document to CIC Ottawa. I did it by Canada Post XpressPost and not it says out for delivery for 2 days and still not delivered. Did it get lost?

There is no other updates? a timeline should be there showing every step.

Last time when I sent my work permit application to Vegreville in Alberta, it took 2 business days and item was reported "successfully delivered" within an hour after "Out for delivery" status.

Yeah. It was in transit over the weekend then out delivery from monday morning. Then stay out for delivery.

So it went out for delivery yesterday? It was probably delivered shortly after that. I noticed that the Canada Post tracking is not updated instantly. But you'll probably find next time you check it, that the delivery timestamp was within a few hours of the 'out for delivery' time.

Probably your package already received by CIC.
Earlier This happened to some senders.

This is exactly the same case as mine. Mine is showing out for delivery for last 2 days now. Called canadapost they said since it was mailes to cic and they receive bulk mails, its probably still at govt mailroom and once it is sorted for the concerned dept the status will be updated after last scan. Not sure if it is truly the case.

Canadapost tracking system does not get updated a LOT.

Wait for the return tracker to get activated.

(Better yet, keep checking the return tracker).
