Canada Permanent Resident Travel

I have permanent resident in Canada. I see we are able to go to some countries Visa free for vacation but on some sites it say USA is visa free while some say no. If I want to go on a tour for a weekend to USA do I need tourist visa? Since I see people with American Green Card are able to enter Canada for vacation/visit without applying for a visa. Does Canada has anything similar to that? Or is it only the Canada citizen who can travel visa free in USA? Let me know if its possible to travel on Canadian PR without visa, since the process time for USA tourist visa has decent wait time.

Only Canadian citizens. You need a visa if you are a PR.
