Hi!
Haven finally gotten my citizenship certificate, I need to get a passport, and have a travel question I'm trying to sort out:
I'm currently in USA, and can apply via mail from the US, BUT I am needing to travel back to Canada in a couple weeks, for certain sooner than a mailed in passport application would come back. I am a US citizen and passport holder, so don't have visa or other issues that would prevent me from crossing into Canada on US passport, BUT I'm imaginging the agent at the airport will know know that I am a Canadian citizen as well and want to see my Canadian passport.
Is this no big deal and they will waive me through? Am i making a problem for myself by doing this and I need to tell work I can't make this trip? A citizenship certificate isn't a travel document so I don't imagine they would want to see that.
thoughts?
