Canada passport and oci

Hi all ,
Can i apply canada passport at passport office or service canada passport center with 3 to 45 days window reason stating written letter saying that :: to apply for oci i need canada passport ? I dont have travel date with regular service.please help .

As you already said you don't have a travel date, so is your own OCI matter urgent to the Canadian government?

There are many ways to make a travel proof, like travel itinerary/hotel booking if you cross the border by car or air ticket.

For myself, I booked a refundable 1-way ticket to the US within 1 month and used it to apply at Canada passport center, and I'm going to collect the passport in the next 2 weeks. It's 4.5 hours of waiting without any appointment, but it's worth it.
