Hey guys, just after many searches about suitable destinations for people like my uncle to retire, i found out some cool stuff about the Caribbean and Canada, which i share with u, maybe it could be valuable for someone looking for same things. Basically, if you want full citizenship and a tropical lifestyle, the Caribbean might be a good fit. But if you're more into a developed country with strong social services, Canada of course could be a better option.
The Caribbean is cheaper to get citizenship in and you can usually do it pretty quickly. Canada's Golden Visa is way more expensive and takes forever. But Canada's economy is stronger, and you get to live in a developed country.
I myself have heard from some friends that Canada has been facing some difficulties with it's economy in last couple of years, but they believe everything will become great in the nثar future.
Ultimately, it depends on what's important to you. If you want to travel a lot and have a relaxed lifestyle, the Caribbean might be the way to go. But if you value stability and a classic immigrant destination, Canada could be a better choice.
