I would request the forum members to opine about the fact that Canada only needs Qualified Labors for hard and fatiguing jobs which the local Canadians feel fussy to perform.
Someone with a good score of IELTS i.e 7.5++, with a clean criminal history, having required funds to survive for the first few months after reaching there can qualify for the immigration. To my understandings they don't care whether the applicant possesses an adequate professional expertise as per the demand list(NOC). It is just that they want to show the World, their so called transparent/points based immigration process.

Waiting for your valuable comments. Sply. The Captain(Qorax)

P.S:Its just my own thought.

What I could see in Canada is majority of the labor force is highly educated. In simple words Canada is a land of hi-tech labors.

There is huge gap of between employer's demand of skilled worker and available workers.
This gap is not develop over a night.
Ultimately this has created a critical shortage of skilled people on urgent basis.

Skilled Immigration is fastest & reliable solution to cater this alarming situation.
Because its take 2o+ years to develop a professional like engineer, doctors etc from new born state for a govt.

On the other hand this skilled immigration process can give you 1000 engineers over a period of a 2 years.

Hi alien25,

Ofcourse you will feel you are highly qualified labor during first year of survival.

Also, once you have PR then no limit for you either you work or start your own business and grow.

I know immigrants working in Candian firms drawing more salaries than Canadians and immigrant business owners doing doing very well compared to native canadians.

Canada is providing an environment with crime free and well qualified people.

Once you know that they do not have their own Hitech, high Educated labor force, it's an opportunity available.

The success depends only on you, your attitude and how you encash the available opportunity.

Right?

Skilled worker immigration is there to fill a need but it is still up to you to convince the employer that you are the person who can fill their need.

That means you might have to take a lower job and work your way up, show what you can do.

It also means that you might have to look for the need because it might not be in the exact city where you would like to live.

Hi alien25,

I am not completely with you. This may vary man to man. I know several people who were from outside Canada and today they are successful officers in different organizations, some are successful businessmen. However, I believe, people must struggle, at first, entering a new land. This is because of language variance, cultural differences and degrees from outside Canada. Studying my acquaintances who are successful, I believe a Canadian degree can make you a competent worker. Moreover, learning French and mingling with local Canadians can help you to overcome the cultural barriers as well.

Be positive, be successful. Last of all, I must say I have not been there even for a day but heard a lot about some people's stories which helped me to develop an idea which I am sharing with you. Best of luck!!!

Look before you leap
Retrieved from: http://www.phrases.org.uk/meanings/look-before-you-leap.html

“Meaning:

Check that you are clear what is ahead of you before making a decision that you cannot go back on.

Origin

The intuitive notion that this phrase derives from the undeniable wisdom of checking a fence before jumping over it on horseback appears to be misguided. Such behaviour is and was common enough amongst riders to have been given a name, i.e. 'craning'. Nevertheless, the proverb as first recorded refers specifically to the rashness of leap unpreparedly into marriage.

This proverb is first recorded in John Heywood's A dialogue conteinyng the nomber in effect of all the prouerbes in the Englishe tongue, 1546:

And though they seeme wives for you never so fit,
Yet let not harmfull haste so far out run your wit:
But that ye harke to heare all the whole summe
That may please or displease you in time to cumme.
Thus by these lessons ye may learne good cheape
In wedding and all things to looke ere ye leaped

The Miracles brought the idea up to date in 1960 with Smokey Robinson's Shop Around:

Just because you've become a young man, now,
There's still some things that you don't understand, now.
Before you ask some girl for her hand, now,
Keep your freedom for as long as you can, now.
My mama told me, "You better shop around".”

-Hope you enjoyed this.
