:) Hi,

You people are doing a fantastic job.

I am going to be 38 years old on coming 1st November. I have an experience of more than 5 years as Insurance Manager + Insurance advisor in the last 10 years. The profile is already in the list of CIC. I am a Graduate (Bachelor in Commerce) from Delhi University (2002 batch). My IELTS score is - L=6.5, R=7, W=6.5, S=6, Overall=6.5. Could you please calculate how many points do I get for Canada PR. My wife secured 3.5 in IELTS and she 12th standard pass. She went college for 3 years but could not through in the final year.

Thanks

Gagan Chugh

Hi,

I am going to be 38 years old on coming 1st November. Age 38==9 points

I have an experience of more than 5 years as Insurance Manager + Insurance advisor in the last 10 years.==Experience==13 points

The profile is already in the list of CIC. I am a Graduate (Bachelor in Commerce) from Delhi University (2002 batch).Education 21 points (You need WES ECA report if you did not study in Canada.)

My IELTS score is - L=6.5, R=7, W=6.5, S=6, Overall=6.5. Language===19 points

Could you please calculate how many points do I get for Canada PR. Total is 62 without your wife's IELTS

My wife secured 3.5 in IELTS and she 12th standard pass. She needs L-4.5, R-3.5, W-4.0 and S-4.0 to fetch you 5 additional points.

She went college for 3 years but could not through in the final year. Her Education is immaterial for points now.

Thanks

Gagan Chugh

If you have a relation ( brother, sister, aunt, uncle, dad or mum who is a Permanent Resident or Citizen of Canada and you can prove it with proper documentation, you can earn 5 more points which can push you to 67. (67 is the required eligibiligy minimum for Canada FSW. Your NOC 0121 is not hot. As a sacrifice, your wife can retake the IELTS to get a higher score in the minimum Threshold of CLB 4 to earn you 5 points. : Please toast her with love and she will prepare well. Don't miss the opportunity.
But ensure that your wife takes the IELTS soonest so that you can apply for FSW 2014 before December ends. send your credentials to World Education service (WES) for evaluation if you have not done so, and follow it up for speed because it takes time).

Conclusively, You are faced with 2 options:

Contact your relation in Canada (If you have one) for his or her Immigration papers to be included in your application:
OR Let your wife re-take her IELTS
Best of Luck.

Thank you so much for your reply. Will I be able to apply in the Fast Track Program with the same situation? It is starting from 1st January, 2015, right. Is it fruitful to apply in that program?

I hope so. No one knows the specific requirements for the Jan 2015 Express Entry yet. CIC is yet to tell us that. But I am very sure that its going to be within the equivalent of what FSW needs. You will need all those documents again. Just let your wife do the IELTS again or confirm the relations you or your wife has in Canada.

Click on the following link:-
http://www.cic.gc.ca/ctc-vac/ee-start.asp

and follow instructions and ansewer all question one by one, at the end of your question answer session, this website will tell you that in which program you are eligible and how much you score out of 1200.
By the way this is canadian government official website.
