Hi

I am a software engineer in working in a MNC with 2 years experience. I completed my B.Tech in 2012 with 76.5%. I want to go to Canada for work. . Can somebody guide me what should I do for it. How should I apply. How do I look for job. On average how much money would be required. Thanks

If your target is only to work in canada for a while/and not to immigrate permanently - i guess since you work in an mnc, your company probably has a branch in canada, if yes,why don't you try applying for jobs internally?

Check if you can qualify under FSW. But I heard that software professionals are no longer accepted under FSW?

not true, the current FSW list contains the below NOC code for SW professionals, depending on each individual's roles and responsibilities one can choose the best fit:

2174 Computer programmers and interactive media developers
2172 Database analysts and data administrators
2173 Software engineers and designers
2171 Information systems analysts and consultants

I knw my job qualifies ubder fsw but What do I need to do to apply under fsw.

Information on how to apply is here:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-how.asp

If you don't feel comfortable reading through this information and applying on your own, you should hire an immigration consultant to assist you.

Its good that you know it qualifies, then you need to start preparing your application, however you need to allocate a lot
of time and effort to prepare the documentation:

start filling the application forms and preparing the required documentation in parallel:

application forms:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/skilled.asp

documentation checklist:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/pdf/kits/forms/IMM5612E.pdf

After filling the forms, preparing the required documentation and paying the fees - you'll need to mail your complete
application to CIO Nova scotia.
