Canada has issued a faulty POE letter of introduction. Why is the IRCC like this?

Hello everyone,

I got my POE letter of introduction a couple days ago for my study permit.

In the section where it mentions my eTA, it does not mention my eTA number or when my eTA expires. There are blanks there instead of the numbers. Why did they give me this faulty letter of introduction? How do I get this fixed? Why is the IRCC such a pain to deal with?

I would appreciate your help on this, fellow students.

I looked at your post history and deduced you've applied for a Study Permit from Bangladesh. Only certain countries can avail eTA to enter Canada, and Bangladesh isn't one of those. You need a temporary residence visa (TRV) to enter the country.

You would've submitted your passport for stamping, right? The TRV will be stamped in it, and you need to show that at the Port of Entry along with your letter confirming the study permit approval. The PoE letter will not contain TRV details as it is not a travel document (as mentioned in bold in the letter).

If I misunderstood your point, please correct me.

My passport is from a country that requires a visa to travel, not a ETA and my letter of introduction also has those blank spaces. As @RamSatt said, it should all be OK if that's also your case.
