Canada General student visa processing time.

Hi ALL

I have applied for Canada student visa into general category by VFS Delhi(India) on 20th Nov 2015 and still today(17/12/2015) i have not got any response form high commission. I have applied for Jan 2016 intake and from 6th of Jan my class will be commencing. Please let me know what i suppose to do or is there any body who have any idea what's going on.

hey tarun I have also applied under general category in new delhi on16 butno response till now we have to wait or you may send an email to them check email on. india.gc.ca

I also applied under general category at VFS New Delhi on 23 November....still no response..

I am also in the same boat. I applied on 24th november and still no update on application status. My classes will be starting from 4th Jan.

Hi all

I am also like you all.

I applied online for my study permit (PhD) on Nov 11, 2015. The present online status says I passed the medical test on Nov 14. They asked for my Masters degree on Dec 9 which I uploaded on Dec 10th, the status for it says "Provided". No other communication nor updates from the visa office since then. I made two case based enquiry, one said no further update and other went unanswered.

No update till now...i can't understand why they are taking so much time to process general category applications. Even my friend who applied on 30 November got his visa on 11 december.

This comes when i check my status..
I appled under SPP on 4th dec
