Could anyone please help me clarify one of my doubts below? - I have done the roles of "Computer Network Technicians" in the past (for 4 years) and most of my responsibilities/duties do match with the ones mentioned in the NOC - 2281. I have been told by a consultant that though I have done all the duties of a "Computer Network Technicians" my application still won't get through as the organization that I work with was a CALL-CENTER

Could anyone please confirm how true or false is it and should I go ahead with my application? And, am I too late in filing my application or I still have time?

Any suggestion will be greatly appreciated.

I can't believe how misleading these 'Agents' can get !

Does a call center not have a network of computers ? Do they not have an IT user base ?

I am assuming when you say you have performed the duties of 2281 it is not 'Tech Support' for customers which then falls into a different category and not generally 2281.

Anyway - if you can show a letter of reference with the duties matching 2281; it won't matter which industry you have worked in.

Soon appearing in IELTS.

But stuck with Education Credential Assessment. Preparing it to send WES. Any suggestions about it highly appreciated. There two more organization CES, ICA.

Thanks for the response nishesh3003. I worked with Convergys for Microsoft Enterprise Platform Support (EPS) and it was hardcore technical support, I have already requested for the reference letter from my organization and hoping that I will suffice.

Just wanted to check if I am late or still have time to move ahead with the application? - It would be great if anyone can
answer this question.

We need to show some funds to support ourselves initially when we are in Canada? Any info on how much funds (in Indian Rupees) do we need to show and what all can we show as assets i.e Property, Vehicle, Provident Fund or other savings etc...

Any info around this will be greatly appreciated.

It is called Settlement funds. Its $550 for you and $550 each for spouse and dependant children. Only readily transferrable funds are accepted such as cash at bank and fixed deposits. I dont think PF or Property make up for it but they can be included as assets.

I just replied to your PM but have a few more questions. Can you post your Duties please. The Technologies that you've worked on in itself does not provide detailed info.
