Canada Express Entry 2019 Questions

Hi,

My CRS score is 441 and I have submitted my profile on 1st January 2019.
I also got the OINP invitation from Ontario.

My Question: Should I go for OINP or wait for Express entry draw? Would the EE score come down to 441 this year? Any advice?

its risky to say... u have an opportunity... as far as i see.. it might go up..

If I apply for OINP, will my Express entry profile be disabled?

Can both the process be active at the same time so that if the EE draw falls below 441, I will get a direct ITA and then I can abandon the OINP process in middle and go for Direct EE path?

Yes, both applications can run parallel. The only issue is that you would have lost the 1,500 Canadian dollars.

Hi, I read your post in another thread. I am an ex employee of IBM. I need Reference Letter from IBM but people at Separate@in.ibm.com are royally ignoring my mails for weeks.

Were you able to get reference letter? is there a way to get reference letter from IBM?

I am a software developer for over 9 years. However, my certificates are quite unrelated to this job

- Economics (4 years)
- Biology & Genetics (4 years, still studying but soon I'll graduate)

Is it likely that I might face any problems if I pick "3 year or more" to the question "In the last 10 years, how many total years of skilled work experience do you have"?

I hope my question is clear, any help is appreciated

Hi, Yes. IBM has a separate portal for this.
https://atldcyz082162.atl.edst.ibm.com/DEL/

Go to this link, login and create new request for Reference letter.

Paste your Reference letter content.

Add your managers and N+1 and HR's name if you remember.

Submit.

This goes to you People's Manager.

Once approved you get PDF in 2mins.

But to get approval you will have to call and bug them.

Reply back if you face any issue.

In my case my manager is not in IBM anymore and my team was dissolved and all my colleagues moved to different company or team .
How do I give my managers contact? Any idea ?
