Yes - it's possible. How long have you been in the US illegally?

Any experience you gained while in the US illegally cannot be counted towards Express Entry.

So you won't be able to count any work experience that you gained in those 3.5 years (since it would have been illegal).

You will need to be 100% honest about your US immigration history in your Canadian immigration application. Note that your application will most likely be processed through the visa office responsible for your home country. Once CIC is ready to issue your PR visa, you will have to send your passport to the visa office responsible for your home country.

Once you leave the US, you will be automatically banned for 10 years.

Detailed information about Canada's immigration process is posted on the CIC web site:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/apply.asp

You have two choices. You can either spend quite a bit of time investigating Canada's immigration programs and what it takes to apply on your own - or you can hire an immigration consultant or lawyer to do this work on your behalf. If you are going to hire someone, expect to pay $3K to $5K for a good consultant/lawyer.

The first thing I suggest you do before engaging a lawyer / consultant is to assess your eligibility and get an idea of your CRS score. If your score comes to less than 400 points, I won't engage a consultant as that's money not well spent. You have to first be eligible based on your score - age, education, English proficiency etc. No one with less than 430 crs points has been issued an invitation. You can calculate this score yourself and come up with a good estimate (see link below). Once you think I have enough points to even get invited to apply, then you can engage a consultant to help you deal with the over-stay complexity. If you cannot get enough points to get invitation to apply, there's no point getting a lawyer.

To check your chances of getting an invitation use this tool directly from CIC website, answer to the best of your ability. If you score approximately 400 points, get your lawyer to start figuring how to guide through if you get an invitation with your overstay issue.

Thankyou sir but I have never given any language test so do I need to first clear the test
Yes. You will need your language test results to calculate CRS scores.

I'm curious about this case. Although it's none of my business, for food for the mind reasons, obviously the applicant lived in the US illegally for more than 6 months.

How about the PCC requirement? The applicant may not get it but is a written and honest declaration enough already to satisfy CIC?

I really doubt that someone living in us illegaly can find any acceptable reason for CIC for not providing fbi pcc.

That's what I've thought too. Are there any exceptions just for an applicant progress his application... Hmm..
