Hi, I'm currently a masters student in Canada. My wife has a bachelors in business and a masters degree in business administration. She applied for management graduate programs in some universities in Canada and her applications got rejected. I want her to be here and study; so I'm thinking maybe she can apply to a graduate certificate in "any college" in my city. Will this affect her visa? I mean the officer might check that her bachelors and masters were done in well-ranked universities, so why would she study in any college in Canada? Is my point of view logical? Thank you.

Any advice on what programs must she choose so that she can get her visa? Should the program be related to her previous studies? PS: she has 5 years of work experience as an administrative assistant

To be approved for a study permit, her planned studies in Canada must make sense in light of her previous education and work experience. So a different masters degree or a phd would make sense in her case. Something at "any college" makes it look like she's not a genuine student and is just using the study permit as a means of getting to Canada.

I got your point. So because she did her bachelors and masters in a university, so this means that she has to enroll in a university (not college) in canada if she wants to study there right?

She can try for a college program - but it must be a post graduate study program (not graduate) - and it absolutely has to make sense in light of her previous education and work experience. Higher chances of approval if she goes for a masters or phd.

Okay, she will apply for masters in a specialization in business (organizational behaviour). Her bachelors is in business and her masters is in business adminstration. she has 5 years work experience as an adminstrative assistant. So the trick is to choose another masters but something not similar to her first masters right? One final question, whats is post graduate study program? Thanks!
