Canada Citizenship Process - My Complete Status Updates

Please see below the complete status updates for my citizenship application in Ottawa. I sent it out on October 21, 2017. The whole process was 7 months long, even though the IRCC website showed 12 months processing time.

1. We received your application for Canadian citizenship (grant of citizenship) on October 27, 2017.
2. We sent you correspondence acknowledging receipt of your application(s), and a study book called Discover Canada on December 29, 2017.
3. We started processing your application on January 26, 2018.
4. We sent you a notice on April 3, 2018 to appear and write the citizenship test on April 25, 2018 at 8:15 AM. The notice you will receive by mail will be your official confirmation of your appointment. If you have not received this notice prior to the date of your scheduled appointment, please contact us.
5. You became a Canadian citizen on May 25, 2018.

I am waiting for OUTH and did my test last week may 28.

Yes I got it in an email. I did my test on April 25th, and recieved an email in 14 days to appear for the Oath on May 25th.

Should have moved to Ottawa and applied there. They have wonderful timelines unlike dreadful Mississauga!
