Canada born child do I need to notify?

Do we have to notify IRCC regarding child born in Canada if our Citizenship application is in Progress? I know the Child is automatically a Canadian but just wanted to know if IRCC needs to be notified.

If your application is in process you aren’t a citizen and your children wouldn’t wouldn’t automatically be Canadian citizens. If they are born in Canada they will be.
