Can you pay your GIC via Transferwise (wise.com)

I'm planning to open a GIC account in Scotiabank for a study visa, I'm a freelancer getting paid online and I receive my funds in my Transferwise (wise.com) online borderless bank account where they gave me accounts for a few currencies including CAD, I have the option to pay in CAD from there, does Scotiabank accept GIC from Transferwise.
The account is in my name and address but It's an online bank account.
