Can you NOT pass the medical examination?

My husband has his medical examination this friday, and I'm just curious about what they're looking for?

I read people saying "my pr passed their medical" and great, but does that mean you can potentially fail it?? What health issues cause you to be inadmissible?

Most of the people pass the exam. if there is any issue the doctor the do call you back. normally they check for TB/AIDs and other results related to BP and ETC

Basically only things that would present a danger to Canadians. Usually this would mean getting communicable diseases treated and/or monitored (like tuberculosis). Presumably there are other things, like if you have a condition that shoots deadly lasers out of your eyes or something.

Contagious diseases will get you a fail until it’s addressed (if possible). There is no medical inadmissibility.

Does mental illness? I was off sick recently for 5 months, I’ve never been off for this length of time before. I’m back at work now.
