We went to an immigration consultant a few weeks ago and discussed a few options. Right now she is on an open work permit with a working holiday visa. It looks like my girlfriend has the option of applying for a nomination with the job she has. She enjoys her main job but she also does a couple other small ones that she is passionate about. These bring in little money and are only for a few hours per week but she likes mixing it up and it's a chance for her make connections. Can she keep doing these once she is nominated? The consultant said it would be fine as long as the intention is to stick with the main employer. Thanks
Can you do other small jobs during a nomination?

Pretty sure you can't. The work permit she'll get is VERY clear.
- Not authorised to work in any occupation other than stated.
- Not authorised to work for any employer other than stated.
- Not authorised to work in any location other than stated.
So unless these other jobs are specifically written on the work permit, she can't do them.
I'd be curious why your consultant thinks this isn't the case. Did they give a reason? Or are they they assuming that she probably won't be caught?

According to my experience. Right now she is on an open work permit. So I don't think so there will be any problem as long as she is working with a current employer full time and doing small jobs as part time. Her PNP file should have to be only associated with a current employer.Tyson2014 said:
