Can you be rejected after your CC is Charged?

Hi All,

I'm just reading about someone in the June 2014 thread... He/She had applied in June, had their CC charged and not received an AOR.. But then low and behold he was refunded his money and sent an email saying that....

My question is, has he/she been officially rejected?

Also- my case is similar as my cc was charged on Aug 27, 2014 and then no AOR to date... Which was 3 weeks ago...

I've already emailed the sydney office but nothing yet... My biggest issue is that i have my BOWP application sent without an AOR...

I'm starting to get worried.. in what cases do they actually refund your money and not issue you an AOR...???

Any feedback is very much appreciated...

Scenarios

1: If they see you are missing any document on intial part of processing they will refund the money. Next time send every thing. Its not rejected thouhgh

2.If they find you are not meeting requirement during the review of application , you will get a email saying you are rejected with reasons. In that case no money is refunded.

I sent all my documents with nothing missing.. All forms and all additional paperwork inclusive of PCC's etc...

When you say not meeting requirement are you talking about the Canadian Work Experience?
Do you know why they may have not sent me my AOR yet??

Thanks for the update.

The case highlighted by shuggzz - the applicant file was recevied at Sydney around 23 June, the CC was charged on 7 Aug and no AOR mail the ECAS status was "In Process" and suddenly refund of amout email received after 1.5 months.

If some docs. were missing in the initial screening than the packet should have returend as happens in general and no CC chaarged.

Didn't got this scenario when CC was charged the ECAS status in process and no refunt after 1.5 month.

Is it like there is another level of initial doc. review in Ottawa after CC chaged at Sydeny and packet sent to ottawa and if any issues found during ottawas initial review then amount is refunded...

Hey guys, I would like you to answer my question if possible.
I applied on April 25 2014 and received by April 29 2014 but I got my aor on September 10 after contact with cic by local MP because my mp told your file has been lost inside the office and that's why they took so Long to issue you file number. In between, before get my AOR i made an enqury about by email to cic intake office about my application but I got their email after my aor and they wrote " your file number **** and email has been sent to your representative. Your file is with our office and is under reviews "

What's that under review means ? I believe they already review before giving me file number and now has to sent an application for professing to Ottawa office. Even in aor email they mention your file has been placed for processin.
I am confused .. Please answer of you have any clue

I called them and they said its not in their hands because its in Sydney... They said all i can do is email sydney.. which i already did... i dont know... i'm so worriedd...

They took so long! I did email twice to cic intake office and every time they took almost 35 to 40 days to reply me back !! How about if u send cover letter and explain the situation and also send them screen shot of your ecas status which showing your name and status " in process " ?

And u can also send the transaction approval of bank draft / cc by cic for your PR application

wt hell they can lost inside office..thats ridiculous..oh my god..thanks to ur mp! not sure how many cases unknown like this..no tracking and they are charging huge money for PR from us
