Can we use staples on citizenship application

Hi can we use staples to bind the citizenship application form. Thanks in advance for your information

I think, but really not 100% sure that I read on the site (on the page that provides detailed information on how to fill your application) that they don't want you to use staples and I ended up using paper clips (different colors). Will do the same effect and will allow the agent to remove at will should they need to scan the docs, because I believe they do.
