Can we go to CIC office get permanent residence visa under AINP?

Can we go to CIC office and get permanent residence visa under AINP Category? Mailing the passport is only option to get the permanent visa stamp . Did anyone do that before ?

Yes, you can do that. I went to Buffalo consulate to get my Work Permit stamped and there were many people, who came Buffalo consulate to get the permanent residence stamped.

So you can certainly do that....go ahead.
