Can we apply PR Renewal Online

Hi All,
My PR card expired in Jan-2020, due to COVID-19 restrictions i did not applied for renewal yet, will there be any issue ? is there any way to apply online PR renewal.

Paper application from inside Canada, should not be issue unless you have not met the residency obligation. Processing time probably longer due COVID

No one can answer that. Everything is delayed due to the pandemic.

I sent my application on March 25. I'm still not able to locate my application online. IRCC on April 29 said they could only confirm applications received up to Feb 10. Anyone applied recently that has received their new PR card?

Based on other posting PR card processing has essentially stopped. You applied when the country was already in lockdown and only essential work was being done. You only really need a PR card if you are out of Canada and need to reenter.

As of May 12, the processing time is 174 days for PR card renewal.
