Can we apply for passport next day after Oath?

I waited the requisite 2 business days, and my information was still not in the system. I became a citizen on July 1.

Contacted IRCC via the call centre, and now waiting. I hope it gets resolved soon as I am travelling on the 8th, and really need to get the application in today.

Check ECAS before you go to the passport office. If your status has changed to "Complete" you should be OK to apply. My oath was on a Wednesday at 2 PM. Thursday night it still said "In Process", Friday morning changed to "Complete", so I headed down and had no problems.

when did you get your PP after applying
 
Just wanted to add to this thread, because it helped me during my process. Here are my details:

Citizenship application date: May 22, 2018
Test invite recieved date: June 19, 2019
Test date: July 17, 2019 (8:16am at Scarborough Office)
Oath Invite recieved date: July 17, 2019
Oath Date: July 18, 2019(1pm at Scarborough Office)
ECAS status changed to "COMPLETE": Morning(7:30am) of July 19, 2019
Application for Passport date: Morning(8:30am) of July 19, 2019 -- asked and paid for Express/urgent processing (You have to present a paid ticket for upcoming travel within less than 10 business days)
Recieved Passport -- Afternoon (3:45pm) of July 19,2019
Travelled using passport -- July 20, 2019.

@DoubleS Hi, thanks for your input. Can you send me link for ECAS? Bec my oath taking is on Aug 3 and date of travel is Sept 1. I also wanted to apply for PP asap.

However, I'm not sure you will qualify for Express processing, as you should have more than 10 business days to work with. I think you can do regular processing and pick it up at the set date(2 weeks later) they will give you.

@DoubleS Pretty sure we have enough time. We have atleast 17 days. Anyway, the link isn't working but I guess I just have to make sure i'll go to PP office after 2 business days.

DoubleS,

I am in a similar situation. Could you please let me know in which passport centre did you apply for the Urgent Passport? Is it the Scarborough Centre.
Could you please advise what info/doc they had asked you?
