I am working In Qatar since 2013,

I applied for canada visitor visa on 20 Nov 24. I applied through IRCC portal . I have valid US visa and travelled to UK/Japan/Switzerland/Croatia and Germany . I have visa of France and Autralia but was expired could not used.

I was rejected for New Zealand in 23. Will it have negative impact on canada visa application although i have mentioned the visa rejection reason.

Will my travel history have any positive impact on my application rather than New Zealand rejection .

Your travel history can have a very positive impact on your Canada visitor visa application, especially since you hold a valid US visa and have traveled to the UK, Japan, Switzerland, Croatia, and Germany. Your travel history demonstrates that you follow international travel rules and return to your country on time.

If you have honestly mentioned the New Zealand visa rejection and explained the reason clearly, its negative impact may be minimal. Honesty is very important for IRCC. If you have explained the reason for the New Zealand rejection and shown strong ties and a genuine purpose for visiting Canada, it can improve the chances of a positive outcome for your application.

Your strong travel history and valid US visa will help convince the IRCC officer that you will return to your home country or Qatar after visiting Canada. Therefore, the positive impact of your travel history is likely to outweigh the New Zealand visa refusal.

A strong travel history is only part of an application.

They have a US visa , but have they used it ?

Also the reason for travel and date of travel factor into whether it is beneficial or not. Many seem to miss the fact that holding a US visa is not that beneficial. Traveling to the US as a visitor and returning home without overstaying is what helps.
