Can visa be picked up at the embassy?

Hi Everyone

Looks we got approved but my VO Vienna is not responding to our time sensitive email. Anyone know if we can go directly to the embassy to get the visa? If so how?

We are currently out of my husband's country of residence and due to the language barrier don't feel comfortable mailing it so we thought we would go to Vienna Embassy instead.

Suggestions?

I don't know specifically about Vienna, but usually it is not possible.

Someone did pick theirs up in Vienna in july. Just wondering if anything changed since?
