I am about to file for my eAPR and I had a trip planned to the US in the upcoming month. I have a business/tourist visa! I came to know recently that Canada and the US share information with each other during the info sharing phase! Since all what I have is a non-immigrant visa, one must fully establish a non-immigrant intent in order to maintain this status. When Canada and US start to share info with each other and when American authorities come to know about my plans to settle down in Canada, will they revoke my visa? I certainly do not want to be turned away at a US airport so is it a better idea to cancel the trip?

You will be fine. The non immigrant intent for your USA visa is only applicable to the USA, not Canada. There are even people who fly to the USA immediately before landing in Canada, so they land from the USA.

So even if USA comes to know about your immigrant intentions, they won't revoke the visa? Good to know!

Of course not, the USA is a separate country, you are not trying to immigrate there. Don't worry buddy.

The purpose of sharing info between the 2 countries and other countries part of the Five Eyes group (UK, Australia, New Zealand) is to verify that you don't have any criminal records and immigration violations. Though USA does have the right to revoke your visa, that doesn't mean they would revoke it just because you've made plans to settle down in Canada.
