I am recently accepted by a certificate program at York U, which requires 57 credits to graduate.
Since, 1 course=3 credits, which means I have to take 19 courses totally. At York U, the full courses load for fall\winter is 10 courses, this program will need around 4 semesters to finish.
I wonder when I graduate from this program, can I receive a three year working permit?
For immigration, can I use this certificate for CEC, I checked the CIC website, it says,
"Applicants must complete a program of study and earn:
a diploma, degree, trade or apprenticeship credential from a public post-secondary educational institution such as a college or a university that is provincially recognized,"
I could not find certificate on it, does certificate qualify as well?
Many thanks.
